Vapor Blasting

Vapor blasting or hydro sandblasting, is a finishing technique used to clean and restore non-ferrous metals.

Unlike traditional sandblasting, which uses a dry, aggressive abrasive sprayed under high pressure on the part, which can damage the surface and alter the critical tolerances of the engine components, Vapor Blasting incorporates water into the process. This water cushions and lubricates the abrasive (often glass beads) during impact, thus avoiding any damage and producing a superior quality satin finish.

Sandblasting and micro-blasting

Sandblasting and microblasting are finishing processes used to clean and prepare metal surfaces, each with specific applications.

Sandblasting consists of projecting a dry abrasive under high pressure on the surface of the metal. This method is effective for removing impurities, oxides, and old layers of paint. This process is perfect for preparing the surface before painting.

Microbillage is a softer technique that uses small glass or ceramic balls projected at low pressure. This process is ideal for delicate finishes, because it cleans without altering the surface of the material. The microbillage produces a smooth and satin texture, which makes it a preferred choice for parts requiring delicate surface treatment.

EPOXY PAINT

Epoxy paint or powder paint is a durable and resistant coating, widely used to protect and beautify metal surfaces and other materials.

This process involves the application of a polyester powder or epoxy powder, which is then polymerized at high temperature. Epoxy paint creates a thick, uniform layer, providing excellent adhesion and exceptional protection against corrosion, chemicals, and wear. Unlike other types of paint, powder paint, which comes from industry, forms a hard and resistant coating that does not flake easily and retains its aesthetic appearance over the long term. Epoxy paint is available in a wide range of colors and finishes, ranging from matte to glossy.

General mechanics

At HEURTIER Classic, we have two precision machines, a lathe, a milling machine, a plane grinding machine and a column drill, dedicated to the manufacture and machining of metal and plastic parts. These precision mechanical processes are particularly suitable for prototyping as well as for the rapid remanufacturing of metal parts of all sizes. You get parts of high dimensional precision with a wide choice of materials available, such as aluminum, steel, stainless steel, brass, and many others.

Thanks to this equipment, we are also able to restore and repair complex mechanical components such as engines and gearboxes.

Ceramic paint

Cerakote paint is a specialized coating, renowned for its exceptional durability and resistance to extreme conditions.

This process consists of applying a thin layer of polymerized ceramic, which is then baked at high temperature to create an extremely resistant protective barrier. Ceramic paint offers superior protection against abrasion, corrosion, chemicals, and high temperatures, while being much thinner than other coatings. This fineness makes it possible to maintain the critical tolerances of pistons, engines, etc...

Cerakote paint is available in a wide variety of colors and finishes, ranging from matte to satin
