Modernized front panel (black plastic grille, redesigned dashboard)

Stage One V8 (1979-1985): Version equipped with the 3.5L V8 (91 hp) from the Range Rover

Land Rover Defender (1990-2000)

Official name adopted in 1990, the Defender is the direct evolution of the Land Rover 90 and 110.
